Not Receiving Email Notices

Some email providers have very aggressive filtering on email content. They filter email that you see based on some formula that makes them think that our ad responses are spam. You may never even see them in your spam folder.  Please be sure to sign into your account and check your messages.
 

We often receive Undeliverable Messages from email providers.  Some of the reasons given in this notice are:

 

  • Mailbox is out of storage space
  • User is over quota
  • The email account that you tried to reach does not exist
  • Cannot be delivered because this mailbox is disabled 
  • User does not exist

 

SMTPUTF8 is required, but was not offered by host:  We have found that some systems will not accept emails where our Horse Name or Ad Title field that is included in the notice has emojis or special characters.  Make sure your ad has a clean Horse Name or Ad Title without special characters.
